I am a Sophomore at Elon University, majoring in Media Analytics and International / Global Studies with a concentration in the Middle East. I took two years of Web Design in high school that slowly came back to me as I took the class that taught me how to code this site, Web and Mobile Design. In my free time, I am a member of Model United Nations Club and Alpha Phi Omega (a service fratenity). I am also the secretary of the Arabic Language Organization on campus. I am passionate about international politics, especially learning Arabic. Arabic is a way that I will be able to communicate with many people all over the world, especially in the Middle East. Outside of academics, I enjoy reading, writing, and listening to music.
I am from Charlottesville, Virginia. Over the summers when I am home I work at a brewery. When I am in Charlottesvile, I go on runs, watch netflix, and listen to live music. Charlottesville has a wonderful singer-songwriter scene. My favorite place to go is Carter's Mountain, because every Thursday they have an amazing venue for live music. My internship consisted mainly of canvassing and rallying enthusiasm for a primary election.
