The Heirs
Megan delivers a monologue, "Like Dreaming, Backwards" by Kellie Powell. In this monologue Natalie confids in her sister after one of her friends from college commits suicide.
Attatched are different scenes that Megan has written. The first one is from a pilot episode of a television series she is currently writing. In this series, "The Heirs", the main character's life is turned upside down when her only relative marries a man with a secret. The second writing sample is from a feature film that she wrote titled "Back At It". An ex-bounty hunter must confront her past in order to save the man that she loves.
This is a short film that depicts the story of a girl, Lisa, managing the recent death of her sister. This micro film was written, directed, and edited by Megan.
