Who is Alpha Phi Omega?

chapter

Alpha Phi Omega is a national, coeducational service fraternity. Through its mission of preparing campus and community leaders through service, Alpha Phi Omega is committed to bringing together college students in a national service fraternity in the fellowship of principles derived from the Scout Oath and of the Law of the Boy Scouts of America.

hangingout

Our brothers participate in service events to help our community, weekly chapters to discuss the business of the fraternity, fellowship events to get to know one another better, and the process of inducting new members to the fraternity every semester. We really enjoy one another’s company, and are proud to promote a “service with friends” community feel.

founder

Our chapter, Sigma Rho, is Elon University’s only coeducational service fraternity, and we are proud to serve our community. During our last academic year, our brothers were able to complete over 4200 hours of service. Currently, we work with around 25 community partners in the Alamance County area. We currently have over 50 active brothers, and celebrated our 50th anniversary of our chartering last year!
