Self-Portrait 2Charcoal & chalk on paper Created 2004 18 inches X 17 inches Portraying an emotional state which I often inhabit but with which I do not like to think of myself, this image includes the bitter and sullen anger in which I spend a large percentage of my life. In an attempt to be honest to myself, I included my acquired spinal tilt and the limited upper corner of my wheelchair, which I don't like to acknowledge in my images. |
