Update 12/15/08

It's the final day of our game programming class and our game is coming together. We've had some rough patches along the way but I feel that we've really come together to make a solid game. It's got a winning state and a losing state and a good overall objective. We're really proud of it and hope that people will enjoy playing it! The new game has been uploaded to the site along with our presentation slides.

It's been a lot of work to get here, but it's been worth it. We've learned a lot.

Update 9/22/08

Well we've had a few changes to the team. Ahmed has left so we are now Team TYK. As a result of this we have a new web page hosted on my site as well as a removal of the forums. Perhaps they will show up again later, but as of right now we don't really have much of a use for them.

As the semester goes on we're making progress on our game engine. We have uploaded a beta release of the game Snake!, an arcade snake game that we have been working on. You can find it in the downloads section.

In regards to Grape Stomper, we are currently writing code to handle the scrolling background and the enemy AI. We hope to have these things completed and working later on this week. Being the art director, I am also developing sprites for the game's main characters and enemies. I'll also be doing the artwork for the environments found in the game.

As always, we'll keep you updated with our progress.
